Born on Bentinck Island and raised on Mornington Island in the Gulf of Carpentaria, Claudia Moodoonuthi creates artworks that embody land, ocean and sky. Inspired by her deep connection to country and the traditional ways of both the Lardil and Kayardild peoples, her artworks explore the natural world and showcase her rich Indigenous roots and contemporary culture.
